About Tarek

My name is Tarek Mounib and I would be happy and honoured to accompany you on your healing journey.  I completed my Bachelors in Engineering in the 90's, but my fascination with healing and the human experience led me to do my Masters in the Study of Mysticism and Religious Experience. My thesis was specifically on Greco Arab Medicine and Healing as practiced by the Sufi's, which in addition to Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, is one of the influences of Tibetan Medicine.

As I was pursuing my career in the business world, I continually took time off to immerse myself in the study of psychology and healing. From 2001-2002, I immersed myself in the study of Carl Jung's Depth Psychology for one year and completed the Jungian Analysis foundational courses. Over the years I learned various healing techniques including Reiki and Massage.

In 2023 I started in depth training in Sowa Rigpa and in 2024, I completed over 500 hours of study which covers the foundational courses of the Sowa Rigpa Practitioner course I am enrolled in. As part of the program, I spent over a month in Nepal being trained and shadowing Sowa Rigpa doctors. Additionally I was fortunate enough to use the techniques I learned and apply them hands on in the Nepalese Medical Camps.

I would love the opportunity to offer all what I have learned to you and hope that it can be of benefit. More details regarding the treatments can be found here.

Health Camps in Nepal

Health Camps are organised events that can take place in the mountains, in a monastery, in the middle of a village or practically anywhere people can be found. Basically a large tent is set up or a room is converted for a day to welcome anyone who feels the need for a Sowa Rigpa Treatment.

The services are offered for free and people come to get treated for a wide variety of ailments. The pictures on the right show some of the medical camps that I participated in.
